Why it’s a good place to walk

Jisan Saetgang eco park is a wetland park in Jisan-dong, right in the city of Gumi. The scenery changes with the seasons: a cherry blossom road in spring, a lotus colony in summer and many kinds of migratory birds in winter.

If you like to walk, start with the yellow-earth barefoot path (황토 맨발걷기길) — beginners can try it without worry. The park also has a whooper swan couple sculpture (큰고니 부부 조형물), photo spots and facilities, so it is a good place to stroll and take a break.

The nameIn Korean, saetgang (샛강) means a small stream that branches off a larger river.
